Direction to Pay & Limited Power of Attorney
By signing below, the customer authorizes NavAuto1 Group to accept, endorse, and deposit insurance payments issued on their behalf. All funds will be applied as a credit toward the cost of repairs for the vehicle listed in the repair agreement.
Insurance Check Handling & Power of Attorney
If the insurance company sends the initial or any supplemental payment directly to the customer, the customer agrees to notify NavAuto1 Group immediately upon receipt. The customer further agrees to deliver the check to the repair facility within 48 hours of receiving it.
By signing this agreement, the customer grants NavAuto1 Group a limited Power of Attorney for the sole purpose of signing and endorsing any checks, drafts, or payments issued by the insurance company related to the specific claim number and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) associated with the repair.
This authorization is limited in scope and is intended only to facilitate the proper and timely payment of insurance proceeds for the approved repair.
Repair Authorization
By signing this agreement, the customer authorizes NavAuto1 Group to perform the repairs as outlined in the estimate and to provide the necessary parts and labor. The customer acknowledges that any written or oral estimate provided is binding under Colorado law. Subsequent verbal or written estimates and authorizations are also legally binding.
NavAuto1 Group technicians may operate the customer’s vehicle for testing, inspection, and diagnostics. The customer agrees that NavAuto1 Group is not responsible for the loss or damage of the vehicle or personal belongings left inside.
Mechanic’s Lien and Collection Rights
The customer acknowledges and agrees that NavAuto1 Group holds an express mechanic’s lien on the above-described vehicle for all charges related to parts and labor, including any amounts owed from prior repair orders.
If the customer fails to pay such charges in full, they further agree to be responsible for all costs of collection, including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees.
Auto Body & Paint Warranty
Lifetime Limited Warranty on Paint-Related Work
NavAuto1 Group provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all paint-related repairs, covering defects in workmanship such as:

Solvent blistering

Peeling or hazing
-
Excessive pigment loss
Parts and materials are warranted according to the respective manufacturers’ terms.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Towing, rental cars, travel, or incidental costs
-
Pre-existing rust, rock chips, abrasions, or prior repairs
-
Damage caused by detergents, acid rain, fallout, or misuse
-
Custom/exotic finishes or non-standard refinish procedures
-
Areas previously refinished unless stripped to bare metal
-
Solvent blends and single-stage paint systems
-
Claims lacking valid documentation
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer of record. It shall not be altered by prior discussions or actions.
Mechanical Warranty
Used or Recycled Parts
No warranties are provided for repairs using used or recycled parts. These repairs are accepted as-is, voiding any warranty coverage.
New Parts Warranty
When new parts are installed, NavAuto1 Group offers a 2-year or 24,000-mile warranty—whichever comes first—covering parts and labor. Coverage begins on the date the service is completed and is backed by the TechNet Professionals Nationwide Warranty.
This warranty is valid only for:

Parts and services provided by NavAuto1 Group

The registered vehicle owner at the time of repair

Non-transferable claims
Total Loss Vehicle Policy
If a vehicle is deemed a total loss, the following charges will apply:

$150.00 per day storage fee for drivable vehicles

$300.00 per day storage fee for non-drivable vehicles

$850.00 administrative fee
-
All towing, teardown, and inspection costs
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and/or their insurance provider. No exceptions will be made.
Insurance Payment Direction & Check Handling
The customer authorizes NavAuto1 Group to accept insurance payments on their behalf. This includes endorsing and depositing checks issued by the insurance provider toward the cost of repairs.
If a check is issued directly to the customer, they agree to:

Payment Policy Notice
Please be advised that all payments must be made using the credit card of the individual listed on the invoice. For security and authorization purposes, we cannot accept credit cards from other individuals or family members unless their name is specifically listed on the repair order.
We do not accept personal checks under any circumstances. The only checks accepted are those issued directly by insurance companies. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Adams County, Colorado, under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator must be experienced in law, evidence, and the automotive industry.

Arbitration shall follow Colorado law and applicable statutes of limitation

No punitive damages may be awarded

NavAuto1 Group is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Limitation of Liability
nder no circumstances shall NavAuto1 Group be liable for punitive, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, revenue, or use, whether the claim arises in contract or tort—even if NavAuto1 Group has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Maximum Liability
NavAuto1 Group’s total liability, if any, shall be strictly limited to the total amount of fees received by NavAuto1 Group for the specific parts and services giving rise to the dispute.

Payment Responsibility and Vehicle Release
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all payment arrangements are made in advance.
All charges must be paid in full prior to the release of the vehicle
NavAuto1 Group will not release any vehicle until payment has been received in full, including any insurance deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, or charges not covered by insurance. Please plan accordingly to avoid delays in vehicle pickup.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – HAIL DAMAGE LIABILITY
NavAuto1 Group will not be liable for any hail damage that may occur while the vehicle is in our possession. Hail is considered an Act of God and is not covered under our insurance policy.
Acknowledgment and Agreement
By signing below, the customer affirms they are the legal owner of the vehicle or have the authority to act on the owner’s behalf and agree to all terms outlined in this agreement.
